Who are we

Agrigento ArkeoPark is a cooperative focused on experiential and creative tourism.

It's born from the meeting of women, mothers and self workers who worked for years in the sector of tourism and from the conservation of cultural heritage, sharing the passion for history, archeology and towards their city, the desire of increasing the services for young residents and for young passing tourists, testing new potential work and creating new professional roles.

The cooperative's activity is the ideation, planning and realisation of educational workshops of experimental archeology, imitative and renovation, and also cultural events that attract attention for the experiential and creative tourism.

The intent, through the labs experience, is to develop the consciousness and the knowledge of skills, resources and cultural heritage's acquisition. All linked to the importance of the preservation of art history and monumental heritage of the own territory.

In July of 2014, in addition to the educational activity and to the realization of cultural events, we started the management of publicity and ticket service of the Temple Tour Bus operated by T. U. A. ( Transporti Urbani Agrigento).
