AGRIGENTO ARKEOPARK

 The delight of the five senses is the best way to live and taste from the beginning to the end of this itinerary in Sicily, walking through the natural beauties and the huge cultural, historical and archaeological heritage, which has been kept from centuries.

The sight, the smells, the sounds of Sicily and above all its tastes, the itinerary thus proposes the tasting of local products and an experience in one of the many "Home Restaurant" of the city for tasting not only the home cooking, but mostly, in order live a moment of Sicilian culture, it will also be possible to live a unique experience with one of the top star chefs and cook together the typical dishes of the Sicilian culinary tradition.

We will visit Akragas, Agrigentum and Girgenti, that is the city of Agrigento of the greek period, the Roman and the Arabic one, and then we’ll visit the nearby towns of Sant'Angelo Muxaro, Campobello and Licata.

Among the particular experiences there will be the visit to The Girgenti shaman, surrounded by the aromatic and medicinal herbs, and taste the small, yellow and spicy mustard flowers, the other sweet and fresh taste of purple flowers, smelling rosemary, mint, different types of thyme, fennel, tarragon, calamint, sage, bay ….

Finally you’ll touch and experience what it is to weave our "Penelope’s weave", wear a Peplum, create a small mosaic with experimental archeology labs: a recreational-educational itinerary in which the mind is focused on leading the hand, distracting them away from every problem, and producing an immediate relaxation and wellness.
