Our activity is mainly focused on designing, projecting, and realize teaching labs of experimental and/or imitative archeology and restoration applying the ancient techniques such as (as known):

production of manufacts in clay
production of textile artifacts
production of mosaics

During the whole year it's possible to participate to our labs, for all ages and for every nationality, and our activity is not only related to scholastic tourism, but also to creative tourism.

The priority of our teaching course wants to be an exercise that by "educating the hand" it also educate the thought and it's also a chance to put yourself into play.

The participants will learn how to make use of culture and knowledge in a selective and critique way so that they won be just simple bystanders anymore, but part of the knowledge creation and transformation process.

Our goal is to develop, through the lab experience, the awareness and the knowledge of skills and techniques, of resources and acquisition of the cultural heritages.

Experiential Itinerary:

A NEW WAY OF TRAVELLING

The Itineraries of Experiential Tourism are structured in 7/10 days and they take place in the whole year on booking for groups of at least 10 people.

As an integration of the more teaching activities of experimental archeology it's possible to walk a series of historical, archaeological, naturalistic ed food and wine themed itineraries, accompanied by Experts and Authorized Guides, which will go through the history of the ancient Sicily making the travel an unforgettable experience and one of a kind as it blends the experimental archeology activity with the knowledge of the area and its millenary culture, everything inside a high level receptive-touristic frame.
